He believed that we should base belief on evidence and logic.He also believed that pleasure is the only natural value and that the most pleasant life was one where we abstained from unnecessary desires and achieve inner tranquility. |
Aristotle

Diogenes of Sinope Born in sinope but exiled after defacing currency,he is believed to be a student of antisthenes. He believed in self control and personal excellence in one's behavior.He also believed in the rejection of all things not considered necessary to life such as personal possessions. He lived in a wine cask and had a cup till he saw a boy drinking water with his hands and realised that it was unnecessary. |
Confusius
His original name is actually K’ung Fu-tzu. Confucius dedicated his life to learning and was one of the first people to believe that education should be accessible to everybody no matter their class. He worked in government for a period of time but put himself in self exile in search of a government that would use his teachings.his teachings have created a religion known a confucianism.

Plato
Plato was a wise philosopher. He was taught by socrates and expanded the ideas and techniques he learned from his teacher. He opened an academy to teach Philosophy and taught other influential philosophers like aristotle. He believed that a good life was achieved through interacting with forms such as beauty, justice and equality. he also believed that another factor in living a good life was having alignment of what he believed were the three parts of the soul, reason, spirit and appetite.
